A-Tanka-A-Day: Sagari

The head of a horse,

Hanging from a nettle branch,

Winnies to a kin,

Hoping he will lend his hoof.

The rider’s head burns with fever.

  1. Steven Spitz says:

    Hooves of the beast,
where his feet used to be,
    The growl of a Yetti
Bellows forth from his festering gob.
A Creature so hideous he is
    afraid of himself.
